Roaring waves that keep me awake at night.
Trees in intimate embrace.
Red Hibiscus flowers in the wind, love is calling.
Hills of the Emmental, pervaded by wafts of mist…
Artistic nature images as postcards are suited wonderfully for a present…
And of course for your own writing as well…
Or for arranging…
Here the new collection:
Hiking from Schwarzsee to the Kaiseregg and over the ridge. What a view!
From now on I work with a print office that is specialized in premium prints for galleries and museums. I can now also offer all fine art prints on the legendary Hahnemühle fine art paper! Highest quality, excellent color depth and a very high light stability of the pictures are guaranteed.
What’s more there is a new low cost offer, the print on
> Hahnemühle paper, without mounting.
If you prefer your picture being nicely mounted, you can choose between two versions:
> Hahnemühle canvas stretched over a classical wooden frame and
> Hahnemühle paper mounted on a stylish forex panel (new since 1.6.2016).

Yesterday in Berne in the Villa Bernau a show of my nature photographs was presented, accompanied with music. A great experience, thanks!
Fire – wild and unpredictable
In the Cinébad Berne my new picture show is on the screen.
A wish came true to see the flower carpets under the oak groves in the Spanish Extremadura! These flowers… and the imposing vultures, flying over the vastness. On the Spanisch north coast I was impressed by the lush green, the mountainous landscapes “Picos de Europa” and the bizarre rock formations on the beaches. In the Pyrenees I could photograph the whooshing waterfalls for hours. In France it sputtered and flowered in many variations too. Often beauty emerged surprisingly… a poppy meadow in the nowhere – and I was happy like a little child!
Diving into the small big green of nature… I find myself in a magic world…
Moss, grass and co. we seem to know. Since they grow everywhere. It’s similar to our everyday life, our fellows and ourselves – we seem to know all this.
Appearances are deceiving.
When we engage, look closely and explore new perspectives, then we see:
everything has magic.
Spring is chirping and humming, blooming and sprouting and I walk through the forest. On the forest floor the first small flowers are irradiating to me like stars. I lie down and let myself be infatuated…
Oxlip (Prímula elátior)
Wild hyacinth (Scílla bifólia)
Lungwort (Pulmonária officinális)
Life is amazing. Yesterday I could not sleep because my heart was palpitating and I asked myself about the sense of life. I questioned everything. I felt helpless and perceived a rare sensation of nakedness in the face of the universe. I totally dived into the senselessness.
Instead of drowning, I came up again. The pure opposite awaited me. I was flooded with an unbelievable feeling of deep sense, connectedness and vastness.
Also photographing made sense again. With eyes wide open I entered the world of blossoming tulips.
The chaotic, wild, uncontrolled can be scary – and also very creative, inventive and lively. The silence, quietness can be challenging – and it can make me deeply happy.
In every picture there is a balance between chaos and silence. Pictures that at first glance appear chaotic, may reveal a silence at a closer look. And pictures that seem quiet, almost empty, hold chaotic liveliness, too. This balance does me good.
Sometimes I tend to avoid chaotic pictures. Even though they attract me almost magically. They beckon me surrender to the imponderability of life, to let flow instead of fighting. Whereas sometimes I don’t let the silent pictures come close to me. Yet when I do, they help me to dive, relax and just be.
The Cinébad is a wellness oasis in Berne where you can lie in the warm pool enjoying films and pictures. Since October 2014 a slideshow of my nature photographs can be seen on the cinema screen whenever there’s no film playing.
New prints for a customer arrived – a flower trilogy. I’m happy with the pictures…
The bedrooms of the beautiful Waldhaus International Seminar Centre are decorated with my fine art prints.
